Rutabaga is a root vegetable that resembles a turnip in appearance but is considerably bigger. It was really a cross between a turnip and a wild cabbage. There are several advantages to eating it since it is high in vitamins C and E, fiber, calcium, magnesium, and other minerals. It even contains phosphorous, which is essential for the creation of energy.

Keto fries in a pan are one of my favorite things to prepare. This is the technique I believe they taste the best and get that perfect crisp on the exterior. As a result, for this dish, I decided to prepare the fries in a pan.
However, you may prepare these fries in an oven or an Air Fryer in addition to this way of cooking.
Skillet is the first method.
You can start cooking your rutabaga after you’ve peeled it, sliced it into sticks, and added all of the spices, herbs, and oil. Transfer the fries to a medium pan and cook over low-medium heat. Cover the pan with a lid and toss the keto fries periodically. In around 25-30 minutes, they should be thoroughly cooked (until golden brown).
Air Fryer (method #2)
Preheat your Air Fryer to 375 degrees F and prepare the rutabaga fries. Place the fries on the rack of the Air Fryer. Cooking time for the fries should be about 20-25 minutes (flipping halfway through).
Oven (method #3).
This is quite similar to how rutabaga fries are cooked in an Air Fryer. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F after the fries are ready. Place your fries on a parchment-paper-lined baking sheet or a baking rack. Preheat the oven to 200°F and bake the fries for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through.
If you like loaded fries, you must try these low-carb versions. Simply drizzle some of this Rao’s Alfredo sauce over the fries, then top with shredded mozzarella or shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.

Peel and slice the rutabaga. Then, using a sharp knife, cut the rutabaga slices into sticks.
