Cranberry Bliss Bars: How to Make Them
Starbucks-style cranberry joy bars are simple to create. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Using parchment paper, line a baking pan. Begin by mixing the butter and brown sugar together. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, orange essence, and vanilla extract until creamy.
Combine the ground ginger, baking powder, salt, and flour in a mixing bowl. Make sure you don’t overmix the batter! Your joy bars will get thick as a result of your efforts. Fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate with a light hand. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges, after transferring the batter to the baking pan. Allow the cake to cool fully on a wire rack before applying the frosting.
To create the frosting, combine the cream cheese and powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl and beat until smooth and lump-free. Mix in the orange and vanilla extracts, then spread the mixture over the chilled bar and smooth it out with a spatula. Drizzle the chocolate over the top and sprinkle with dried cranberries. Place the bar in the refrigerator to let the frosting to set before slicing.
Cranberry Bliss Bars: How to Cut Them
Your cranberry joy bars may be cut into squares or triangles. Regardless of how you cut them, make sure you use a sharp knife. To make triangles, first cut the bar into squares, then diagonally cut the squares in half to produce triangles.
